The easiest treat recipe that is sure to spread holiday cheer!

I’m talking about festive Rice Krispie treats.

All you need to do is melt your butter in a large pot on the stove over a low heat. Once the butter has melted down, add in about 40 large marshmallows and vanilla extract. Continuously stir the marshmallows until it has turned into a lumpy gooey mess.

You don’t want the marshmallows to fully melt down, so make sure it has some lumps. Then incorporate your cereal. I like to add in extra mini marshmallows as I stir to ensure my treats are extra delicious. Once the Krispies are coated, dump the cereal into a parchment lined baking dish to allow it to cool.

Then, dig in and enjoy!
